I did not feel comfortable in my body anymore, as I couldn’t lose the weight I gained during COVID (from working at home and unhealthy habits over two years). When my doctor told me I was slightly overweight and that my perimenopausal symptoms were becoming more intense, I decided to contact Marcus for help.

I chose Marcus because I met him in person in Mexico back in 2019 and had been following him on social media ever since. I liked his posts, which were always spot-on, and his tips. I also really enjoy his podcast because he speaks very clear English.

Marcus created a personalized nutrition and workout plan for me, and he monitored my weight loss and habits throughout the process.

I lost 24 lbs in 20 weeks, improved my overall health and nutrition habits, and I just feel great!

I liked that Marcus was always available online and that we had weekly check-ins with helpful information and support. I could ask questions, and he guided me through the weight loss and nutrition process. When I wanted to add a new food, he calculated the allowed quantity and added it to my plan. Through photo tracking, food journals, and activity logs, he kept me accountable. The post-coaching advice was brief but it stuck with me - it’s imprinted in my mind.

It would’ve been amazing to have Marcus as a personal fitness coach on-site, but unfortunately that’s not possible since I live in a different hemisphere :)

I’m very thankful to Marcus and his program - it’s incredibly effective. I was able to make long-lasting habit changes. Marcus’ method works. Of course, there may be small relapses now and then due to life circumstances, but his approach is ingrained in me now, and I can always return to it!

I was searching for a coach as one day I realized that my life had gotten the best of me. A health concern surfaced that told me that I had to change my lifestyle. I’m getting married this summer and with all of the weight that I gained, my dress wouldn’t fit me and it was my dream dress...my goal was to get back into it!

I picked Marcus because I used his services years ago, it worked very well for me and what I achieved was amazing and well...

It worked again! I conquered my goal of weight loss, increased energy, better sleep and control of life stressors! His coaching also gave me my confidence back as well as the tools I need to continue on my journey in life.

I like Marcus' constant communication and support no matter what. Even if I stumbled and old habits came back, Marcus was always there to help me back up with continued support. He never made me feel bad about anything, especially when I’m already hard on my self!

I will most definitely use Marcus' nutrition program again if I need too, he’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever had and he can relate to all of us as he’s been in our shoes before...that’s what makes it more true and real :)

I was looking for a plan that was sustainable, but also realistic. I've done all sorts of plans/programs where great fat loss occurs, but the long term trajectory isn't sustainable. I had recently gained a large amount of weight after a broken bone and just felt very out of control in my own body. I coped during that time by indulging with food. I weighed more than ever and felt lost on how to create healthy, long term change. I've always loved food and have been able to eat fairly freely and move to keep everything in balance. However, as I've gotten into my 30s I noticed things aren't as they once were. I also wanted the opportunity to analyze my own relationship with food. I realize that it is a privilege to be able to take that time and look at how and why I do what I do. Marcus' program felt like a great way to invest in myself.

I had heard from several friends who did the program. They found great success and enjoyed the process.

We looked at my life holistically. We changed my thoughts on certain food groups and I realized how a lack of protein, front loaded and managed throughout the day, led to binging on not good options later into the evening. I learned to listen to my body and recognize signs of hunger vs a desire to fill a void. I learned the power of movement through walking. I did not appreciate walking prior to this program. To me movement had been lots of heavy weights resulting often in injury or fatigue from rigorous programs. Walking brought an hour a day where I found peace. It allowed me time to connect with friends; a great way to connect is to invite someone on a walk. I got to see new spaces in my city and reconnect with nature. We focused a lot on my digestion and noticing how my body was responding to certain foods. Within that, noticing foods that trigger bloating/unfavourable digestion responses. We also focused on sleep which truthfully is something I enjoy, but do not often prioritize. This program gave me permission to rest.

Weight loss for me, truthfully, was the initial goal. However, the biggest result was internal. I addressed some challenging narratives I've held with what I perceive health and wellness to be. Secondly, the biggest result was a complete shift in how I structure my meals. Looking at what I ate prior and how "healthy" I thought it was, I now understand what will fill me up and what balance actually looks like. I can eat fat and carbs in a balanced way. When I focus on good protein intake I am satiated and reaching less for things to snack on throughout the day. My meal prep and meals, prior, were ridiculously elaborate coupled with being calorically dense. I've really started enjoying simple meals with whole foods. It's also saved a massive amount of time in my week. Finally, I'm not going to lie that fitting into and finding some of my clothes being too big has been pretty great too!

I liked that Marcus was honest. He was diplomatic and factual. There is a cause and effect to everything we do. I appreciated the regular check ins and the accountability, for me, definitely made the biggest impact. My favourite line is we can have it all, but we can't have it all at the same time. So figuring out what I really wanted and how I wanted to feel was powerful. I could satisfy a short term craving, but needed to be aware of long term impacts. I also really enjoyed the podcasts. This is an additional layer of knowledge and explanation.

I wouldn’t change anything about Marcus’ coaching or program. I think if you'd asked me that during certain weeks, I'd have had more to say. However, those frustrations weren't with Marcus. When you are creating change there has to be growth and acknowledgement of certain habits. Our behaviours serves to meet our needs. However, sometimes we are serving wants as opposed to needs. Our minds want to minimize cognitive dissonance so I could sometimes fall into the trap of placing blame on external factors. Ultimately, I'm in charge of me and my decisions; therefore, there were growing pains internally when creating this change. Additionally, some weeks I lost more than others, that happens so recognizing that the number on the scale isn't the only tell factor in change.

I'd like the program to continue forever! Financially, if I could, I would work with Marcus forever.

Best decision and investment for personal growth I've ever made.

I was super suspicious at first and toyed with the program for months. If anyone is unsure, ask Marcus for my contact number and I'll talk you through it!

I found my clothes were tight and I really didn’t like the way I was looking in the mirror so I decided to contact Marcus because of his success rate. I had read his client testimonials on his website and I really liked his holistic approach, it inspired me.

Marcus taught me how to see the importance of four key things: nutrition, stress, movement and sleep and how they work together to achieve weight loss. His weekly questionnaire had me reflect on all four and when one thing was out of sync how it could affect the other three.

I lost 22lbs and actually learned to love walking, which for me personally was the “low hanging fruit” from a results standpoint. Walking really allowed me to reconnect with my love of music as I walked to the beat and it wasn’t long before I dropped my gym workouts to walk outdoors for miles.

I really liked the way Marcus incorporated alcohol into my program so that this lifestyle was realistic and sustainable after our partnership ended. He was also very responsive to emails when questions popped up like “I’m going to this restaurant for dinner (sending the menu as an attachment) which appie or entree should I order?” I found this super helpful!

I love the podcasts (listened to as I walked) and the almost-daily nutrition or movement tips he passes on via social media. I found they were educational, motivational and inspiring and because Marcus “walks the talk” by looking after his own nutrition, movement and sleep he is a great role model for all his clients.  

I’ve recommended Marcus to friends and family because his fat loss program works and is sustainable. Thank you so much Marcus, you’re awesome and I feel great!

I had worked with Marcus in 2015 and had success…fast track to 2022, and I had 2 children under 2.5 (one that was 6 months old) and I had spent 6 years either trying to be pregnant, pregnant, or breastfeeding. My body and mind felt slow and I didn't feel like myself. I was blaming it on Postpartum Depression and just barely getting through every day. I was eating randomly and at all hours, I was choosing sweets over whole foods and drinking too often.

I knew that I needed help and Marcus was the only one that I knew I wanted to work with because I like Marcus' methods. He is no bullish!t and he offers really great support. I have also known him since Elementary school so there is something to be said about me calling him my friend when knowing I need help.

We worked towards me changing my habits, especially out of my Postpartum breastfeeding brain that told me I should eat at least one cookie a day. Marcus worked my health plan to concentrate more on eating properly and weighing my food, with less emphasis on me working out because I have 2 young kids and I felt like I couldn't or didn't have time. He changed the way I thought about how much activity and how often I needed to be doing to lose weight. He convinced me to just start walking and it really made a difference and now I enjoy being outside so much! I started to put my youngest in a carrier and now I'm climbing hills and getting results!

Losing 30lbs was more than I ever imagined I could lose and I also lost 5 inches in my hips and actually leaned out in my legs! My thighs have always touched and I had always thought that it was 'just my body' (bigger boned since I was a teen) but seeing a space between my thighs has been my biggest achievement!

I love Marcus and and I love how he checks in on you. It's not just once a week, it's 3 times at least and that keeps you more accountable. I also like his weekly questions because they make you think about your sleep, movement, and nutrition throughout the week and it's easier to stay on track over the weekend that way. I also loved the choices in the meal plan, there were so many options and I honestly never felt deprived!

I knew I needed help, professional help because I was on a downward spiral that was causing internal health, physical and emotional issues.

I knew Marcus provided a satisfying and sustainable program and that is exactly what I wanted and needed. Fortunately his approach is not some food depriving, quick fix that would fail once I was a few months into the process.

The biggest changes that I noticed with Marcus’ program were physical and mental and I now know what choices to make when it comes to food and movement because he gave me all the tools and knowledge I needed to balance the tasty healthy foods along with some salty snacks here and there.

Being a ballerina and athlete for my whole life, health and fitness have always been extremely important to me. After my competitive ballet training ended, my diet and lifestyle habits, which once supported 6+ hours of training per day, stuck.

Though I continued to lead quite a healthy and active lifestyle, my body naturally started to change. I engaged Marcus for coaching because I wanted to learn what my body needed to feel and look its best within my current lifestyle. I’m also a very competitive and motivated person, always looking for the next challenge and ways to improve and better myself. Taking on this challenge was exactly what I needed, especially during a pandemic when I knew bad habits could easily creep in.

I chose to work with Marcus for a few reasons:

1. I really liked his vibe and thought we might connect well on a personal level. I knew a personal connection would be super important if we were going to successfully work together through something as challenging as fat loss!

2. I appreciated that Marcus focuses on working with busy professionals and therefore might understand some unique challenges like demanding schedules, competing priorities, and competitive/critical mindsets.

3. Lastly, because Marcus is fit as **** and so I figured he knew what he was doing! Lol.

I gained so much more from the experience than I ever could have imagined. I didn’t think I had 20lbs to lose, nor did I believe I was capable of losing 20lbs even if I needed to! The positive physical change in my body, both in appearance and function/ability, was so significant.

One of the best (and surprising) outcomes of the program, however, was the fact that I transformed mentally as much as I did physically! I learned to prioritize and be completely accountable to myself; Accountable for the decisions I make and the results that follow. I used to tell myself that “my body just likes staying right at this weight, no matter what I eat or how much I exercise.” I came to realize that I was only telling myself that as an excuse, because I simply wasn’t prepared to implement the actions necessary to make any change. Once I finally decided to put my mental chatter and stories aside, accepted Marcus’ coaching, and made a commitment to myself, I started to see amazing results.

Along the lines of self-prioritization and accountability, I also found journaling from Marcus’ program; a benefit and habit I never thought I’d develop from a nutrition program! Journaling has done wonders for my mental wellbeing and really helps me to understand how I’m feeling, what I need, and what my priorities are.

I really appreciated how simple and easy the program was to follow. There was no guess work involved and the plan was designed around my food preferences and eating habits (timing/frequency etc.). I’ve done programs in the past that required monotonous tracking using apps like MyFitnessPal and Chronometer. Tracking foods in an app is not a sustainable lifestyle and therefore it didn’t produce any lasting results for me. I also really appreciated how Marcus’ program is truly a lifestyle; something you can easily follow, strictly or loosely, for your entire life. It’s simple, repeatable, enjoyable, and effective!

There wasn’t anything I disliked about Marcus’ coaching and there’s nothing that I would change about his program…in fact, I learned to appreciate how Marcus would call me on my own shit! It was truly like having a diary that talked back and helped me to better understand myself. He has a great system, and it clearly works – both for him and his your clients!

I tried many times over the years to lose the excess weight that I had gained since my late twenties with no success. My diets would last from a few days to a few weeks and then I would reward myself by going on a binge and getting right back to my previous weight, if not worse. I decided I needed a professional coach to help me, and I needed to find the right person based on my circumstances.

I chose Marcus because I'd heard about him and that he had a specialized fat loss program that was personally designed to each individual, that it ran for 12 weeks, that it was not just a diet but a lifestyle change and that you could lose weight without having to stop eating any of your favourite foods.

Marcus prepared a program for me that allowed me to eat basically whatever I wanted, but within certain reasonable quantities, and also kept me accountable on a weekly basis during the program by sending in weekly questions and photos. It also didn't involve hours spent on a treadmill at the gym, but rather just going for daily walks to keep up my weekly step counts.

We kept in touch via emails during the week and we chatted every few days to see how things were progressing or if anything needed to change. The communication from Marcus wass great and always very encouraging. One of the things that I found amazing was the food that I could eat with the eating plan. Once you get used to measuring the quantities of what you eat it becomes second nature and I very rarely felt hungry, if at all.

There are some base recipes that Marcus gave me which in themselves are delicious, but also which you can elaborate on with other ingredients in the plan if you so wish. Once a week you can have a treat meal where you can eat whatever you like and some odd beer or wine is allowed also.

The biggest result I achieved was going from my starting weight of 216 lbs to my finishing weight of 172 lbs 12 weeks later. I can't believe it, I can't remember a time that I felt so good! That's a weight loss of 44 lbs in 12 weeks!!

The coaching Marcus provided was very personal to my particular situation. He helped me to work around my current lifestyle and commitments and offered heaps of helpful suggestions along the way. The crazy thing is that I live in Australia and Marcus lives in Canada and we have only ever spoken on the phone or communicated over emails, so you don't need to attend classes or anything like that. Marcus is really easy going also and communicates with you like you are a really good friend. The whole experience has been amazing and really life changing for me! My snoring has stopped, I feel much lighter and fitter and I got rid of all my fat clothes and have started a new wardrobe!

Marcus is also very understanding, there was a couple of weeks along the journey where I had slip ups and one week I actually put on weight, but he said that's normal, we are all human, and then he got me to focus on all the positive progress I had already achieved up to that point, which made me feel really good and made me want to keep going. I really enjoyed everything about being coached by Marcus, he is very encouraging and supportive!!

I think Marcus has developed a system that works. It has worked for me and I have tried other eating plans in the past that all haven't. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Marcus, your program has made me so much more aware of the food I eat, it's really changed the way I think about food. It's made a huge positive change to my life, I can't thank you enough!

Changing my food intake patterns has made me a happier/healthier/more confident individual and people close to me have also noticed this. I am so thankful that you were recommended to me and you were recommended for good reason. Also, I was expecting someone who was going to drill Sargant me daily, instead you put a lot of the responsibility on to me while offering continual support and this is so important for sustainability.

I need to thank you so much for helping me through this journey. I’ve learned how to eat three proper meals a day, prioritize sleep and movement. I have also learned how to slow down a bit and prioritize myself.

One of my most favourite things is that I have reduced my people pleaser tendencies and there was no negative consequences from others, they really respect my decisions. It is honestly crazy how normalized it is to eat processed/junk food and get criticized for eating healthy foods. Eating healthy shouldn’t be termed a “diet”, it should be considered normal; however, that does not seem to be the case.

Also, my partner mentioned, “holy I can’t believe how great you look and HOW STABLE YOUR EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN” and its true I have managed stress so much better the last three months and it all stems to the balance I have acquired through your program

Marcus, you were AMAZING. You checked in at least three times a week. And I am a terrible replier and you still followed up when I did not reply! You were never judgmental, and you were extremely supportive.

Also, you never pressured me to get my butt in the gym which was refreshing. With my 12-hour shifts and sometimes 72 hour work weeks hitting the gym three times a week isn’t always possible and you didn’t push me there. Your podcast was also helpful in terms of information and to understand who you are and what you stand by. They made me trust you and your process more.

The whole process is now just natural, there’s no stress when it comes to meal planning, I have created so many various recipes that are so tasty and cooking is fun for me and I literally NEVER feel hungry. I plan to continue this lifestyle as it has made an enormous impact on my life.

32 weeks and I am down 40.6lbs! I look different, but I also feel profoundly different! I mentioned to Marcus recently about how getting rid of the negative dialogue loop left more space for nurturing my spirit. This is still evolving, and I love how it is unfolding.

My energy is different and I have more of it in the tank. I have gotten back into things that I had forgotten were good for my soul. My mindset has shifted, I am choosing quality over quantity in how I indulge as well as how I spend my time. Things that seemed insurmountable, or as something I just couldn’t decide on right now have become clearer. I feel confident in my knowledge about fueling my body and I will continue to make conscious choices about how that happens!

I’ve been doing some cleaning of closets and drawers and packing this past week (we are on the move!) and came across something I had written from 4 years ago - I spoke about the dark place I was in, my negative body image and the inability to pull myself out of it. I obviously kept moving, but the habits I developed to help me through were not the ones that I needed. It made me realize how long I have been struggling and - it made me cry. Sad tears because of where I was and tears of joy and pride because of where I am now :)

This past 32 weeks has been more than watching the numbers in the scale go down. I have space in my head, and my soul is healing. I have soooo much gratitude for this ride with you, Marcus!! Thank you! 🙏

For a really long time I have tried to lose weight and tried different apps/weight loss diets and working out a lot. None of it seemed to stick or really create the long lasting change I was looking for. I also would lose a few pounds and get totally stuck and feel like I was hungry or not eating enough to be able to lose weight…I realized I needed some help to reach my goals or I was just going to keep running in circles.

I chose Marcus because I saw that he had worked with a few people that I know and saw their amazing results. I also really liked the podcasts that I could listen to before deciding and really appreciated how much I learned just listening to the N1 Fitness Podcast, it seemed like a good fit. Also, the before and after pics are really inspiring on his site!

Marcus set up a really concrete plan for me that was so easy to follow, work with and modify. He also helped me to tap into all the other resources such as sleep, walking, water and stress management, which was just an added bonus. I learned something every single week based on where I got stuck and working through the reflection questions. It was awesome to be guided through the hard points and also an easy program to jump back on when I slipped up. Marcus helped me learn so much about my habits and how to reflect on how I was feeling mentally/physically/emotionally and relate it back to the food I was putting into my body.

The biggest result was the weight loss! Way more weight loss than I would have anticipated when we started and getting way past that point on the scale I haven’t been able to break through in a long time. I also had great results in my digestion (bloating) which has been awesome!

I loved everything about the program. I really liked how easy the program was to start and get back on track when you fall off track a bit. I really appreciated the weekly check ins and being able to access all the podcasts. I appreciate how we could modify and change the program as things went forward and have help when I got stuck. I think the daily step count was awesome for me. I also really found a lot of value in the weekly goals and the what you learned about yourself. The entire program is well done, super organized and easy…it was a great experience!

When you hit rock bottom you will try anything. Ive done so many different fad diets out there over the years. I was an emotional overweight wreck. My goal when I started was to loose 10-15 lbs... At least see the scale hit under the 200 mark! Well…73lb loss I definitely tipped my scale....135!!!

A friend of mine recommended I contact Marcus and initially I didn't know he was the right one for me but we ended up doing mental and physical therapy together lol, it was mind, body and soul training that worked!

I ended up with a 73 lb weight loss (208-135lbs) I went from size 18-20(1xl-2xl) down to 10-11 (med) My measurements (feb-sept/7months) - 40.25 inches (thighs-14.0, hips-10.25, waist-10.0, bust-6.0). I'm pretty sure my total inches lost would be over 50" if I would have believed in myself and took measurements within 1st week of starting with Marcus. 

I appreciate Marcus' emotional support, professionalism, and knowledge that he shows towards his clients, he's amazing :)

My wife introduced the idea of trying a new challenge as part of a New Years resolution and at first, I was skeptical as I believed that we lead healthy lifestyles, ate generally well, we’re both very active and exercise frequently. I didn’t think I had much to change or improve on, however I knew from the onset, that if I was taking on a challenge like this, I would be doing myself a disservice not having someone to hold me accountable during the process and therefore, finding a coach was important to me.

I have known Marcus for some time having crossed paths while playing on multiple sports teams together and I have always admired his personality and demeanor. Knowing he is an accomplished athlete himself, I knew Marcus would be a good fit and I believe that to be a good coach, you yourself need to be coachable! I had been following N1 through social media and was vaguely familiar with his programs and so choosing Marcus seemed like a natural fit for me.

The biggest result from working with Marcus was learning to ‘take ownership’ of my actions. The change in body composition was much more than I anticipated, but the mental game was the toughest part of the process. The program was a lack luster start for me and tracking measurables (weigh-ins, movement, etc.) seemed monotonous and pointless and I was slow to get onboard with everything. It wasn’t until about the halfway mark, that I finally correlated the relationship between my habits and the progress I was making and when I started focusing on movement, things changed gears for me. Taking ownership of your habits and actions is my biggest takeaway from this experience!

The process wasn’t easy and I admittedly became frustrated with my progress several times, however Marcus was always available for questions and conversations. The weekly check-ins and subsequent dialogue is a tremendous asset and platform for candid dialogue. Information and feedback is provided freely and honestly and it just doesn’t get any better than that. The more transparent, open and honest I became, the more benefits I received from Marcus’ coaching.

You have to admire and appreciate someone who can tell you how it is, and ‘talk straight’ to you.

Ever since high school I've gained some weight that I was struggling to lose. I'd hit the gym and completely wipe myself out with insane classes like boxing, HIIT, hot yoga, fitness classes etc.

I had been trying to out exercise a poor diet for years and felt like I got away with it in clothes, but I just didn't feel comfortable in a bathing suit and with my midsection. Trying to stay in shape and live a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me, but since having my two girls it’s become less of a priority. Working a full time job, managing the house and raising my kids has taken up most of my time over the last few years, hence my own health has taken a back seat.

I did maintain a workout schedule, but that really only consisted of a single 1 hour workout per week which just wasn’t enough. When COVID happened in early 2020, our lives changed quickly! I was searching for coaching to have a shake-up in my normal routine. I was generally fit coming into the program, but there was something missing. I was eating “healthy” and was active, but had a hard time getting leaner. My digestion was also out-of-whack and needed some definite tuning.

I picked Marcus because I had a friend who was very successful on his plan. The thing that stood out to me the most when doing some research was that Marcus was a nutrition “coach.” Coach was a key word for me because many people have the credentials to offer nutrition advice, but having the capacity to provide strategic direction, guidance, support and even share a laugh is an entirely different element. Marcus is able to do this and it showed in my success because I had a Coach every day providing positive advice and motivation along with the nutrition component.

We achieved my goals and changed up my lifestyle completely, however improved digestion was the biggest result for me. It has changed my life and being able to eat responsibly with a balance of indulging that allows you to live your day-to-day life…the days of feeling bloated and fogging are gone!

I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired for years that I came to a point where I knew something had to change. I attempted to do it on my own, but lacked any real knowledge of how to change my lifestyle and become healthy. Marcus had been recommended to me from a colleague, I also had seen the results from a friend who previously worked with him, and I knew that I had to reach out and ask for help to get me out of the unhealthy hole I’ve spent years digging for myself.

I wanted to learn about nutrition, movement, and how to properly lose weight and change my lifestyle in a sustainable way that I could integrate into my life. I remember looking into a personal trainer, but that route didn’t seem sustainable or completely accurate to the goals I had in mind. I am so happy and relieved that I got to work with Marcus, because he taught me what actually constitutes a lifestyle change: nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management, and how all 4 work together.

Besides from being put into a calorie deficit, we took away my dependency on coffee and tackled some sleep debt issues I had. Not being able to drink coffee past noon was probably the biggest hurdle I had to initially overcome, it was awful in the beginning, but let me tell you it was so so worth it and I am thankful that he brought me out of caffeine dependency. My energy levels and mental clarity started to go up and I became more in-tune with my body and what it needed from me.

I lost a lot of weight in 15 weeks, but really the biggest results were shown through how I felt. Throughout working together, I became more in-tune with my body and what It needed/wanted. If I ate something that didn’t agree with me, I now know how to remedy it by going for a walk and being aware that perhaps that I don’t digest that specific food well and to not eat it. Because being bloated and feeling crappy isn’t worth eating the thing that doesn’t nourish my body.

I found myself wanting to go on walks, hikes, wake up early for a workout…I wanted to move because I had the energy and desire to do so, I loved how it made my body feel. I started to feel naturally energized by getting proper sleep, handling stress, making sure I was moving and eating healthfully. I wanted this as a goal, but had never felt it before so achieving it was an amazing feat. Marcus showed me that it’s completely doable to live like this, even with a crazy work life.

I loved having a coach for many reasons, but one being that I could ask for advice or information about an article or post I saw online. Like I said before, I didn’t have a lot of knowledge about the health/fitness world, so having Marcus explain or give his opinion was incredibly helpful. It also helped me manoeuvre through all the stuff we see online or are told, and knowing what’s true and what’s just a gimmick.

Marcus’s opinion and outlook on how a week went was super valuable too. There were times where I thought my week was decent, but he would come back telling me my movement could improve, which pushed me to do better for the next week. But then there were also times where I was really hard on myself, and he told me that my week was actually a lot better than I was giving myself credit for. As well, he would get me to tap into the emotional side of things and explore maybe why I thought the week wasn’t great, which is a tool I use now when i check-in with myself.

Also, I loved listening to the podcast! I have re-visited episodes numerous times depending on what’s going on in my life or what I feel like I need some advice on. It’s really a great source for information that I’ll keep using even after my program ends.

The part I struggled with for quite a bit were the weekly check in photos. They are such a great tool to measure progress, but in the moment, it was a lot of raw facts just laid out in front of me. However, along the way I would go back to earlier photos and it would help me reflect on where I was when i started this journey, and reminded me of how much I did not want to go back to that…they ended up being a great motivator in the end!

I was searching for nutrition coaching as over the years I had periodically tried lots of different work out plans to varying and minimal effect, but never focused on my diet with knowledge. I had once dropped a lot of weight without knowing exactly how I did it and had struggled to move back to that weight range ever since. At the time I was moving semi-regularly (2-3 times a week runs/weights) but not shifting anything. A friend had once said to me "abs are made in the kitchen." With that quote, I realised I knew very little about what was going on in my diet, how to change it and what the effects may be. I had always considered myself someone who ate in a healthy manner and exercised semi-regularly but for some reason couldn't shift weight. Realising I had a blind spot, I engaged Marcus for help.

I chose Marcus because I had met him in person travelling and he was someone who I got along with. He showed a really strong work ethic, was in the kind of shape that I desired to be in and was a really authentic individual who I resonated with. I wanted to engage with someone on a more personal level who could talk to me with empathy, rather than the hard-nosed approach you may assume out of your vision of a stereotypical PT at a gym. Additionally, I wanted to solely focus on nutrition, which Marcus offered as a service. People often try and bite off more than they can chew when it comes to change, and I had done this previously. Because Marcus' program was solely focused on nutrition, I thought this would allow me to make steady, incremental and long lasting change to integrate into my life before shifting focus onto physical training.

In our time together I was able to shift 32.5 lbs off my frame while also enduring the Christmas period. While this was a great result, it is the knowledge and habits that have been the biggest achievement. We broke through my conceptions of what weight is appropriate for my frame, what "healthy eating" really is, blew past my original milestones and set up long last nutrition habits that haven't changed.

The biggest value piece for me was a set of clear and concise recipes spelt out in real terms that left nothing to interpretation. It was not just a macro split and being sent on my way, but rather a very specific plan. In no uncertain terms it was clear what was required to succeed and what I would need to adhere to. It took all of the complexity out of the process while I found my feet. I enjoyed the accountability of the weekly check-ins. Each week as you move to day 4 or 5, you may get tempted to cave into your desires, but with another weekly check-in just around the corner it helps you remain strong. I also really valued the personal connection that grew through our weekly check-ins and the genuine empathy and support that Marcus provided throughout my journey.

I was becoming increasingly disheartened with my inability to make the changes I knew I needed to make in my activity as well as my diet, so I decided to reach out to Marcus because a family member recommended him.

Marcus provided me with an individualized program for meals, movement and sleep and I went to it!

I lost 10 lbs resulting from a do-able healthy diet (with a treat meal every week) – but the increased wellbeing because of moving more must go along with the weight loss. Just the weight loss would not have resulted in the same positive result.

I feel extremely grateful!! I will never stop moving as now I’m committed to 8,000-10,000 steps daily and regular Zumba classes. Also, I’ll never not have protein at breakfast as I’ve really noticed what a difference this has made! I used to go for 6 hours on Starbucks egg bites. “Go” is hardly the right word, more like “limp!”

I felt like I was in need of someone with expert knowledge and I knew that movement wise I was doing loads, and that ultimately my problem had to be more than exercise. Originally I thought that sorting out my nutrition was the best motive, turns out there was so much more than just food involved!

I decided to work with Marcus because I met him in real life whilst travelling in Mexico, I thought he was really kind and genuine and I spent about 10 months seeing his social media posts and stories. When it came to crunch time I felt like I trusted his knowledge and the progress he had made with his other clients, so I was in!

Together we cleaned up my eating, sleeping, movement and thinking patterns and found a strategy to get all of those elements to work together to improve my physicality and emotional wellbeing. I now feel like I have a blueprint for how to maintain and keep balance.

I was actually surprised to find that so many of my personal choices around food were so deeply connected to my emotions and my reactions to my life. I can now recognize when that is happening, and actively make better decisions to provide the stress relief or comfort that I'm often looking for.

Also now that I lost weight my old clothes fit me again and as a swing dancer, I feel the benefits so strongly! I can move much more easily, I feel vitalized and my energy levels don't drop when I'm dancing. I am able to swing out fast for a whole song and not collapse in a heap afterwards, and that makes me so fucking proud of myself!! My old shoulder injury recovers from overuse very quickly now, and I have not had any body issues/ailments/injuries since I started the program! WIN!

I really felt that Marcus knew when to push me and when to support me. Sometimes I had this fear that falling off the program would lead to disappointing him and that he would give up on me. Obviously he wouldn't because that it not the point of his job, but it was great for me that even with that irrational fear, I knew he would provide the support and advice that I needed each week to keep me going in right direction.

I’m genuinely so happy that I made the decision to get Marcus’ help. I feel so much better about myself and I don't think that I would have managed to find a new job and a new home without having started his program. I feel like all good things happen for a reason, and the reason in this case, is that he allowed me to find ways to love and believe in myself again.

I had seen a lot of amazing results with Marcus’ client pictures and I thought if all those people can do it, maybe I can too. I also had a good feeling about Marcus because he was direct, super responsive and enthusiastic.

I needed to lose weight for the upcoming cycling season and I had not had much success myself, especially with balancing training and nutrition, so with the off season coming up it seemed like the perfect time to work with him!

Marcus put together a pick-n-mix plan for me based on my preferences, we also added things as we went week by week and made portion adjustments as well.

I found the accountability of sending progress pics and doing weekly weigh-ins helped me to stay motivated. Initially I was worried about losing muscle along with fat, so it was great that I lost 13 lbs of pure fat, which did not negatively affect my cycling, it actually enhanced it!

Marcus is such a positive person and I felt like he really wanted me to succeed, so that was super motivating. I never knew it would also be a bit of life coaching too so that was an awesome surprise as well!

Even though on the outside I might have been looking happy and doing lots of things that might have suggested I was loving life and feeling great, on the inside I really felt like crap and I was so sick of my body and how I was treating it with a very mediocre diet. I was also sick of hearing myself complain about myself, so I decided to do something about it. I wanted to restructure and overhaul my diet and nutrition habits so that I could create a better and sustainable lifestyle for myself and for my future.

I did a program with Marcus 5 years ago when I had fractured both shins and could not exercise so really needed guidance on the nutrition front. I loved everything that Marcus brought to the table at that time and I didn’t hesitate to contact him this time around when I was really feeling at a low point physically. I love Marcus’ approach to nutrition, sleep and movement. It all makes sense to me and the best part is...it is honestly quite simple! There are no tricks or secret methods or quick fixes - these things do not exist. Everything is straight forward but Marcus has such a fantastic way of explaining things that really hit home and made sense to me and I loved that.

Marcus helped me learn about who I am as a person, not just what my body responds to physically but I got in touch with the emotional and mental sides of things as well, which I wasn’t expecting to hit during this process. Marcus supported me every step of the way and asked extremely thought-provoking questions that really made me think about some of the choices I was making. Honestly, I didn’t expect to learn as much as I did in addition to losing weight, it was incredible.

If someone told me 16 weeks ago that I will be 30 lbs lighter today with a whole new appreciation for life and an entirely shifted positive state of mind, I would have told you you were insane. Here I am, 16 weeks later and 30 lbs lighter at 32 years old feeling the best I have ever felt in my entire life both physically and mentally. It truly is remarkable what a person can achieve if you put in the work, time and willingness to want it. I made this a huge priority and will continue to make this my #1 priority.

I loved the guidance I received throughout. I loved how Marcus responded promptly to all of my questions (and yes, I asked a lot of questions) with patience but also provided thoughtful and meaningful answers explaining things in full. He would always take things one step further and give me “homework” to think about during the course of the week. These questions really helped guide me and I didn’t expect that side of it!

I felt like I always had someone in my corner that I could e-mail anytime with a question, even if it was something small. He was so encouraging and motivating and I started to really love listening to his podcast, so much so that I began a new routine of doing a 10KM walk once a week minimum while listening to his podcast. Marcus has so much knowledge and insight and his tips and approach to nutrition resonated with me on every single level. I could write an essay about how fantastic Marcus was as a coach.

This was one of the best experiences of my life and I am forever grateful to you Marcus for everything you helped me achieve during this process. I really cannot thank you enough and I can’t wait for more podcast episodes to come out because I only have 5 more to listen to, then I have listened to all of your episodes! You have created such an incredible business and I will always remember being 32 years old because it was when I felt the best I have ever felt physically, mentally and emotionally. I felt like I had hit a wall with my own version of healthy eating and exercise. Once a competitive athlete, my lifestyle was heavy exercise with using food as fuel and recovery. I maintained this lifestyle once my athletic career was over, but seemed to keep some fat on so I contacted Marcus because I know he is familiar with this, so he could help me tweak the areas I was struggling with that I didn’t have during athletics.

My mom used Marcus’ program and got fantastic results. She herself is also active and has healthy eating habits and wanted to learn the small things to make big changes. I saw how happy she was with Marcus and knew it was right for me too!

Marcus helped shaped my food and exercise mentality and previous habits into a more sustainable lifestyle. We also learned that cooking oils turned out to be my “low hanging fruit”, something I never considered before. 

The source of my frustration with my excess fat was because I knew I was eating well and exercising smart, so why was I still with excess fat? So, I think my biggest result was the reassurance from Marcus that yes, my eating and exercise habits were good, but they needed some refinement. It felt so good knowing I found the exact reason why I was hitting a wall!

Also I never considered incorporating emotions into my weight loss journey and Marcus helped me recognize that it is a super important part of the journey. I think what sets him apart is that he does weekly check points instead of what I see more commonly (monthly). Having 7 days as a goal instead of 28 kept me more accountable, as well as seeing results every week is so motivating!

I highly recommend Marcus to anyone who feels like they are struggling and just need someone to put them on the path to success!!

I was not feeling good and not seeing any changes was making me frustrated and in need of someone who had the experience to guide me and create a plan that worked for me and my lifestyle.

I started working with Marcus because one day I got out of the shower and looked in the mirror and I didn’t recognize myself. I knew it was time to get my health in order.

I had always told myself that post kids I would want to get back into shape and I knew that I needed accountability somewhere. I needed direction and guidance because I have always tried different diets on my own but I generally plateaued and never got the results I wanted and would be discouraged and therefore give up. So I knew I needed something different and to work with someone to coach me through it. 

I love that Marcus was able to offer a customized nutritional program and that he would be able to assess my progress through photos as well as weekly questions so I could be anywhere in the world and still be able to connect with him for our program. 

We worked on fine tuning my nutrition and we identified the foods that made me feel not so great and now I feel like I am much more in tune with my body and its reactions to what I eat. We also worked on staying active, movement, stress management and sleep…these other lifestyle aspects were always emphasized!

I also wanted to become stronger and to lead a more active lifestyle as well as tone up. I do feel like I came out of the program overhauling my lifestyle and now I’m very active and loving it. I feel much stronger and I also feel like I toned up a lot and am on a good journey to continue with this momentum to get even more fit!

Marcus had worked with a friend of mine who shared her photos after she had a baby (4 months post baby) and she looked fantastic so I asked her how she did it and she told me about Marcus! I was looking into changing my lifestyle and improving my health for the better and I needed someone to help me along, keep me accountable and encourage me when I felt I couldn’t do it so I decided to reach out to him.

Marcus and I implemented a healthier lifestyle by leaning on proper nutrition, general movement and occasionally worked our asses off in the gym! I work sometimes up to 80 hrs/week in Film/TV so taking something like this on in my career can be a huge challenge BUT if you want it bad enough you CAN DO IT! I had tried other programs like weight watchers in the past that worked well for me in the short-term, but then I would end up gaining all the weight back fairly quickly as soon as I stopped counting points. It wasn't really teaching me how to eat properly, it was just emphasizing portion sizes of still not-so-healthy foods. I really wanted to learn how to prepare nutritious and satisfying meals so I could make a lifestyle change and not really feel like I'm on a "diet", just eat better all the time! 

I did a lot of research online initially looking into getting a personal trainer (that's how I came across Marcus), but then read that he also did nutritional coaching and saw all the great results he achieved with previous clients and decided I wanted to get my eating on track before I thought about an exercise plan. I also liked that Marcus included client's references with the before and after pictures on his website so I could really get a feel for everything and see that people who were having the exact same struggles as me were able to accomplish great results just by fixing their eating habits and moving every day (pretty easy, really!)

Marcus and I spent 20 weeks developing a sustainable way for me to move more, eat healthier and still feel satiated all the while losing a bunch of unwanted pounds. I realized I was experiencing pretty much constant bloating and lethargy from the foods I was eating before (to the extent that I felt like it was just a normal every day thing) and noticed a BIG improvement in my energy levels and cravings once I cut out a lot of the processed foods and sugars. 

As a result of working with Marcus I lost 25.5 pounds, went down almost two jean sizes and overall I feel way more comfortable in my own skin. The weekly emails and picture-sending definitely helped keep me on track (the pictures especially) and I liked that Marcus was easy to talk to and very informative when I had questions about anything. It hit me. I was feeling pretty happy and wanting somewhat of a push to challenge me and where I was at.  A lifestyle change as well as a birthday was coming up and I knew it was just time to get started on the next step. I had been getting treatment for disordered eating and after I had gotten to a healthful weight and given my body a break I was ready.

It’s funny because it’s actually kind of a cool coincidence with Marcus ending up being the right choice for me.  I had a cousin rave about this “guy” and that she liked the results she got, as well as another family friend around the same time, again RAVING about this “guy”. The SAME GUY. Lol.  I checked out his website and in laughter and excitement I got it. It turns out I know this guy and I had bumped into him about couple weeks prior to that...meant to be I think!

I decided to work with Marcus because after I had been coming from a critical mind-set, he really didn’t have me cut out anything. His approach of it being a lifestyle really is genius because isn’t that what you really want, to be able to set yourself up for success?.

I got more connected to my body on what I liked and I changed what didn’t agree with me. I felt that the online food plan and support was the best bet and checking in weekly as well as having let me tell you, OPTIONS. There was a variety of food that I got to choose from which was so refreshing, such a relief!!

I wanted to implement something sustainable and have something that wasn’t a CLENSE, which I was SICK of hearing as well as more than the bullshit food pyramid you got in high school.  It was more about transforming my body as opposed to just fat loss. He held me accountable, yet took the weight of my mind with the food plan and gave continuous support through email and texting...as well as any questions I had or any worry Marcus was tentative in responding.  In being a dancer and just a woman who loves to move her body, I was at the gym 4-5 days a week with weight training as well as some cardio...Marcus didn't require me to 'workout' per se but I was having a lot of fun so I chose to! In having variety as well as being outdoors more I didn’t know it could be this good! 

The biggest results I got was the incredible change in muscle definition and fat loss, as well as a lot more ENERGY. This body of mine didn’t like the weight number to change so much yet I was reassured with all the training and movement that it was being replaced with muscle. Thank god! Lol.

I also really liked that I wasn’t tired anymore and I was filling my body with fuel to sustain and enjoy all that I loved to do. I was healing from some past injuries as well as doing more then I’ve done physically since I was 12. I’m sticking with this! I’ve been able to heal so much emotionally, mentally and physically and that’s enough for me.

Sure we can come up with all the ‘excuses’ in the world to say we’re not ready. Hide behind your weight or thoughts that don’t serve us. Yet don’t you want to catch it now? It can work to your advantage! A meal plan that can be managed is possible and it can be made easy.

After having two kids I put on some extra weight and I was really struggling to lose the stubborn fat around my waist. Exercise gave me some results but I hit a plateau and I didn't know anything about eating correctly so I felt like I needed some guidance in both.

I was feeling frustrated about my weight and was looking to lose the 12-15 lbs that had crept up over the past 13 years since having kids.  I knew that I needed to commit to a program in which I could be held accountable so I felt that working with a specialist that has a solid grounding in nutrition would help me achieve my goal.

A girlfriend had directed me to Marcus and the N1 Fitness website.  I liked Marcus' message and philosophy about making lifestyle changes that effectively integrate exercise, movement, and healthy eating.  I knew that a quick "diet fix" wasn't going to be the solution for me to shed the weight permanently.  Marcus was quick to respond, demonstrated a keen work ethic, and was very knowledgable of the food-body connection.

After completing a thorough questionnaire of my eating habits, food preferences, exercise regime, sleep habits, etc. Marcus created a balanced nutritional program that incorporated proteins, starchy carbs, fruit, veggies and healthy fats. He assessed my progress regularly and we made weekly adjustments based on my fat loss progress. The result was weight loss, fat loss, a return of muscle definition, improved energy and mood levels, and confidence that move forward with this as a "life-plan".

I appreciated having someone to be my coach and cheerleader - someone to keep me on track with my goals and provide instruction based upon sound knowledge of health and nutrition.

I was putting in so much effort at the gym and not seeing the results I wanted. I realized over time that I was completely missing the nutrition piece of the equation but had yet to discover how BIG of a piece this really was. I was eating a lot more than I needed to and not focusing on whole, nutritious foods to fuel my body and workouts. I was definitely in need of some guidance when it came to my diet. 

I was referred to Marcus by my sister who had worked with him earlier last year. I liked that her nutrition plan created by Marcus included simple whole foods that were easily accessible for anyone. There was also a lot of choices for each meal, which meant I didn't have to stick to the same meal all the time if I felt like something different. 

The biggest result that I got was that I started to see my body lean out, while spending less time in the gym. The guidance that Marcus provided for nutrition made more of a difference than all the extra hours I used to spend in the gym hoping to see the results I wanted so bad. Through personal training, I learned new exercises and was able to work towards perfecting my form on a lot of basic (but super important) workouts. Perhaps the most important result was that I finally felt good about my body and health, which is the most priceless feeling ever!

I really liked that Marcus was super down to earth, easy to talk to and knowledgeable when it came to nutrition and movement. He is a huge supporter of a balanced lifestyle and incorporated this regularly into our program - this made staying motivated and on track super easy! I also really liked that even though this was a nutrition program, it encompassed a lot more than just nutrition. Marcus' emphasis on other aspects of health such as sleep, movement, workouts, gratitude, etc.. really added to the program and knowledge that I acquired overall.

Over the course of the coaching process I lost a total of 30 pounds and went from a size 12 to a size 8 (a size I haven't seen years!)

I loved how Marcus was so easy to contact and how he was always so encouraging even when I didn't have the most stellar week. He always approached things from a positive perspective and I really appreciated the weekly check-up and pictures as it held me accountable and allowed me to see my weekly results. 

As far as what I would change/shift about the coaching I can't come up with anything really, I love the program :)

Marcus helped me build a new relationship with food and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him...all around it was such a great experience!

When I contacted Marcus I realized that my weight was getting out of control and I needed to do something about it fast. I tried myself but I could never stick to anything so I decided I needed some help.

I liked how Marcus altered my program each week if need be and his before and after pictures were really inspiring!

We communicated a lot throughout the program and changed things so my program would work better for me. Marcus also pushed me to get my steps up every week and drink more water which actually made a huge difference in my weight loss week to week.

I lost over 20 pounds in only 20 weeks and I learned a lot of new information and tips about being healthy that I can continue to use for the rest of my life!

My favourite part of the program was the weekly questions and how I could text Marcus if I had questions. I also liked how there were a ton of different options for food on the program so I didn't have to stick to the same three meals everyday, I could switch it up.

I’m a Registered Nurse whose schedule includes shift work and night shifts on a regular basis. I’ve found it challenging to figure out what to eat and when to eat especially while working nights. Bloating and food sensitivities became a huge issue and as a result my weight kept creeping up.

I also have an autoimmune condition that has been in remission since 2008, however, I had been having symptoms of fatigue as of late and wondered if it had something to do with my eating habits. I suppose I had lost sight of how important my nutrition was and the close relationship between my symptoms and what I was eating. I knew Marcus had education and training to help in this area because he worked with a shift working friend of mine successfully prior to working with me.

I’ve worked with trainers in the past and been somewhat successful but eating and making 5-6 meals is quite a bit of work and super time consuming. I wanted a nutritional plan that was simple and something I could continue long term. Marcus set me up with a program that was tailored to me specifically. He gave me the tools and support in order to be successful. We took pictures weekly, which I found held me accountable and allowed Marcus to see what was working and where adjustments needed to be made. Pictures don’t lie so I was forced to be honest with myself and in turn stuck to the program in the right amounts that worked specifically for me!

I lost pounds on the scale but most importantly my fatigue was non-existent. What I ate and how much I moved directly impacted how much if at all I experienced fatigue and fatigue related symptoms. I also went down a few sizes in my clothing and I was now armed with the knowledge of what foods really worked for me and what foods I needed to avoid completely due to a number of food sensitivities. I also felt completely satisfied with my portions and meals so I didn’t feel the need to snack, graze or munch at all.

Marcus was so supportive throughout the process and checked in on me throughout the week to see how I was doing. I always felt he was genuine and made the time for me whenever I had questions.

2 years ago I decided to start working out more to loose my stubborn muffin top. I thought that if I ate less and exercised more I would definitely achieve my goal. Instead of losing weight I was actually gaining weight at a rapid pace and the worst of all my sugar cravings went through the roof! 

I could go into a grocery store, grab a box of cookies and eat them before I hit the check out, it was that bad. A co-worker of mine Lesley Darling told me about Marcus and the services he provides so I decided to give it a go!

Despite wanting to lose some weight, my main goal when I started with Marcus was to feel healthier overall. I used to have some stomach/GI issues with the foods I had been eating and I would constantly feel bloated, heavy etc.

I chose Marcus because I had a friend recommend his services. She had great results and I wanted to try and learn some tips on what I should and shouldn't eat be eating on a daily basis.  Starting this journey showed me that I can lose some weight, while avoiding the stomach upset and bloating.

I managed to lose 23 pounds in less than a year!! But most importantly, I learned how and what to eat with my body, what kind of foods my body likes, and what it doesn't do so well with. The N1 program became a lifestyle and mindset for me, what started out as being very 'different' and 'time consuming' to plan is now just the way I eat and live.

I rarely ever feel bloated now and if I do I can usually pinpoint the cause or food I ate that made me feel that way. I also don't have the same stomach issues I had before and overall I just feel great. Thank youuu!

I have to be honest, I had a lot of hesitation when it came to working with Marcus initially. Not only is he a friend from high school (making the vulnerability aspect all the more vulnerable feeling) but he also makes a clear point of emphasizing an animal protein focus (which felt intimidating to my mostly-vegetarian ways). But alas I’d come to a point where I felt like I wasn’t in control of my health anymore and I needed for things to change.

I currently work as a registered nurse in a remote community in Northern Saskatchewan. A few barriers that I struggle with are job stress, working long hours as a shift worker switching from days to nights and back to days, difficulty sleeping because of these sporadic hours and thus a resultant lack of energy to exercise or pay much mind to the foods that I was taking in. Though nursing is a rewarding job in many ways, it can sometimes come with a price and leave a person feeling completely drained of life-force and vital energy. 

Within the first week I noticed a difference in my health and the way that I felt. The most noticeable aspect over the weeks was the energy that I had to have a life beyond nursing. Very quickly I forgot all my initial hesitations about Marcus' program. He has a unique quality which is both relatable and professional where his relaxed manner creates a space that is open and honest. I felt comfortable talking about some pretty uncomfortable aspects of my journey with food and health. I’m still impressed by how real it got and how much more it is about than just food. Marcus understood that. 

So here I be, a slightly smaller healthier and happier version of myself. My experience of stress has decreased to the point that I’m actually surprised if I feel stressed now. Getting enough sleep remains somewhat of an issue due to shift work however unlike before when I do get to bed I am able to fall asleep easily and my quality of sleep has improved quite significantly. 

I also have energy. It seems such a simple thing but it’s so big. I have energy for my job. I have energy to exercise after a 12-hour shift. I have energy to cook all my meals and I have energy to dance and sing and read and play instruments. It’s just so beautiful - I have energy.

As I approached my late-20’s, I noticed that fat-loss was becoming harder and harder. I was putting in 3-4 sessions in the gym on a regular basis but I was disappointed that I was suddenly not achieving the results that were worthy of my efforts. I knew that the key component I was missing was nutrition however I had no idea how large this component was. 

I tried going gluten-free (to some modest results) but I soon realized that I needed knowledgeable structure to really achieve sound health. At the same time, I took an interest in self-optimiziation and developing habits where I could be my best self in all arenas of my various and diverse pursuits. Again, while I recognized the nutrition was a missing piece of the puzzle, I did not comprehend just how much of a keystone it is to be my best-self: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Marcus' name originally came up among friends who spoke highly of his programs. After perusing his website, I was impressed that he had a personal connection of weight-loss (and achieving results) in addition to the fact that he provided clients with major results. With that, we grew up in the same neighborhood (same highschool) with mutual friends, so I was happy to support you, as opposed to seeking a nutritionist/dietician on my own.

We started our program on January 1. Prior to the program, Marcus assessed my general body composition, eating/fitness habits, and goals, then he tailored a specialized program for me to achieve the goals I set out. Over our eight months, Marcus updated my weekly nutrition program based on my progress while also making himself readily available via text and email for questions. He was my coach setting up the game-plan, providing motivation and tactics on the fly for me to achieve the best results.

My waist-size shrank from 36-inches to 29-inches. 
I lost 45+lbs. 
I enjoyed massive, sustained boosts of energy, mood, and libido. 
I feel the absolute best I have in my adult life.

I like your timely responsiveness, food options in the Nutrition Program (including introducing me to new foods: Ezekiel Bread, Quest Bars, etc.), positive attitude/encouragement, overall pricing, and flexibility with my schedule!

You’ve changed my lifestyle and I love eating to live (not living to eat). I don’t plan on regressing back to where I started, as I thoroughly enjoy my newfound nutritional awareness and routinized fueling schedule. After going to the gym regularly for over 2 years after moving to the United Kingdom, I was not getting the results I thought I deserved. I realized that no matter how much I went to the gym my diet was the problem. I needed someone to tear down the diet and build back it up while making the right choices. 

Marcus used to knock on my door as a young whippersnapper asking to play road hockey and basketball. I had been monitoring his Facebook page and was very impressed with the transformations of his other clients!

When I started Marcus' program, I was at my heaviest and I was miserable! I didn't like the way I looked or felt, and after being very fit for most of my life, this was a tragic place for me to be. 

I opted into his 20 week nutritional program and I started seeing results right away, and each week as it continued after that. I never really plateaued and I went from 125lbs, down to 109lbs. I had to buy new clothes! 

At the end of the 20 weeks, I feel great! I'm healthy, I lost the extra inches/weight, and I now have changed the way I eat permanently. I even feel comfortable in a bathing suit again. I needed to get back on track. After giving birth to my daughter I knew I would need some help to lose the extra weight I put on during my pregnancy. I worked with Marcus a few years ago and got really great results from his program. Because Marcus' approach had worked for me previously I was confident I would be able to see results again!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Marcus and really believe his programs work long term. I like his approach and the vast variety of food options available, I don't feel limited at all. 

I really noticed my body tightening up as the weeks went by, the scale didn't necessarily move every week but it didn't matter so much because my clothes fit better and I felt really good overall!

I hired Marcus because I felt that I had hit a peak with working out. It just seemed like I was going to the gym doing the same thing, with the same results day in and day out. I chose the nutrition programming to elevate my workouts to the next level and live a healthier lifestyle!

I saw some of the transformations Marcus had posted online before and liked the outcome. Also knowing Marcus and his personality as being a very trustworthy and honest person made him a clear choice.

We worked on a day to day program consisting of 4 meals per day. Introducing carbs with protein and veggies for most meals. All of my results were 100% from sticking to the N1 program. Yes i did work out 3-4 times a week but the leaning down process to slim the fat off was ALL because of the program he provided me.

The biggest results i got were in the stomach area, trimming down the fat for sure. I loved the service Marcus gave me. Very simple to get a hold of and extremely informative with answering all of my questions in depth.

Not only did I stick to Marcus' program for 8 weeks, it is a lifestyle change and for that I am forever thankful.

I originally contacted Marcus because I wanted to lose body fat and had attempted many different approaches to no avail. I went through cookie cutter diet after cookie cutter diet before I decided I needed to find something personalized.
