Looks Like More Than 6 Pounds Don't It!?
It hit me. I was feeling pretty happy and wanting somewhat of a push to challenge me and where I was at. A lifestyle change as well as a birthday was coming up and I knew it was just time to get started on the next step. I had been getting treatment for disordered eating and after I had gotten to a healthful weight and given my body a break I was ready.
It’s funny because it’s actually kind of a cool coincidence with Marcus ending up being the right choice for me. I had a cousin rave about this “guy” and that she liked the results she got, as well as another family friend around the same time, again RAVING about this “guy”. The SAME GUY. Lol. I checked out his website and in laughter and excitement I got it. It turns out I know this guy and I had bumped into him about couple weeks prior to that...meant to be I think!
I decided to work with Marcus because after I had been coming from a critical mind-set, he really didn’t have me cut out anything. His approach of it being a lifestyle really is genius because isn’t that what you really want, to be able to set yourself up for success?.
I got more connected to my body on what I liked and I changed what didn’t agree with me. I felt that the online food plan and support was the best bet and checking in weekly as well as having let me tell you, OPTIONS. There was a variety of food that I got to choose from which was so refreshing, such a relief!!
I wanted to implement something sustainable and have something that wasn’t a CLENSE, which I was SICK of hearing as well as more than the bullshit food pyramid you got in high school. It was more about transforming my body as opposed to just fat loss. He held me accountable, yet took the weight of my mind with the food plan and gave continuous support through email and texting...as well as any questions I had or any worry Marcus was tentative in responding. In being a dancer and just a woman who loves to move her body, I was at the gym 4-5 days a week with weight training as well as some cardio...Marcus didn't require me to 'workout' per se but I was having a lot of fun so I chose to! In having variety as well as being outdoors more I didn’t know it could be this good!
The biggest results I got was the incredible change in muscle definition and fat loss, as well as a lot more ENERGY. This body of mine didn’t like the weight number to change so much yet I was reassured with all the training and movement that it was being replaced with muscle. Thank god! Lol.
I also really liked that I wasn’t tired anymore and I was filling my body with fuel to sustain and enjoy all that I loved to do. I was healing from some past injuries as well as doing more then I’ve done physically since I was 12. I’m sticking with this! I’ve been able to heal so much emotionally, mentally and physically and that’s enough for me.
Sure we can come up with all the ‘excuses’ in the world to say we’re not ready. Hide behind your weight or thoughts that don’t serve us. Yet don’t you want to catch it now? It can work to your advantage! A meal plan that can be managed is possible and it can be made easy.
Marcus HAS the knowledge, is doing his PASSION and it shows!
