Danica Dropped 9 Pounds & Went From Lean to Leaner
I was putting in so much effort at the gym and not seeing the results I wanted. I realized over time that I was completely missing the nutrition piece of the equation but had yet to discover how BIG of a piece this really was. I was eating a lot more than I needed to and not focusing on whole, nutritious foods to fuel my body and workouts. I was definitely in need of some guidance when it came to my diet.
I was referred to Marcus by my sister who had worked with him earlier last year. I liked that her nutrition plan created by Marcus included simple whole foods that were easily accessible for anyone. There was also a lot of choices for each meal, which meant I didn't have to stick to the same meal all the time if I felt like something different.
The biggest result that I got was that I started to see my body lean out, while spending less time in the gym. The guidance that Marcus provided for nutrition made more of a difference than all the extra hours I used to spend in the gym hoping to see the results I wanted so bad. Through personal training, I learned new exercises and was able to work towards perfecting my form on a lot of basic (but super important) workouts. Perhaps the most important result was that I finally felt good about my body and health, which is the most priceless feeling ever!
I really liked that Marcus was super down to earth, easy to talk to and knowledgeable when it came to nutrition and movement. He is a huge supporter of a balanced lifestyle and incorporated this regularly into our program - this made staying motivated and on track super easy! I also really liked that even though this was a nutrition program, it encompassed a lot more than just nutrition. Marcus' emphasis on other aspects of health such as sleep, movement, workouts, gratitude, etc.. really added to the program and knowledge that I acquired overall.

The things I learned throughout our program are things that I will continue using as I progress towards new and improved fitness and lifestyle goals.
