Better nutrition means better libido (sex drive). If you’re not giving your body the nutrients it needs then biologically it thinks it’s in a famine. If you can’t support your own nutritional needs the body knows intrinsically that it can’t support a child’s either and therefore sex drive decreases.
The outside is often a reflection of what is going on inside. Poor skin usually means that you have a detoxification issue and bad nutrition is most often the culprit. Your skin is the biggest detoxification organ in the body; toxins have to make it out somehow.
The better you eat the better you sleep. Sleep is extremely important for insulin management as well. Obesity and sleep disorders are directly correlated with one another. If you sleep poorly try cleaning up your eating habits, I guarantee it will only help.
It is said that we have 100 times the stress of our grandfathers. When you eat poorly it’s just another stress that you’re putting your body through. Sugar suppresses the immune system for up to 5 hours and foods that you may not even know you’re sensitive to cause inflammation. Just because you don’t get an immediate reaction (swollen throat/puffy face) from a food doesn’t mean that it hasn’t caused an inflammatory response in your body that you may not even be aware of.
Making poor food choices ages your brain. Alzheimer’s is now classified as type-3 diabetes meaning if you mismanage insulin in your life it is much more likely that you will get Alzheimer’s. If not for any other reason, manage your insulin if you like remembering things.
Most people don't actually know how much better they will feel if they start eating well because they don't know anything different than what they've experienced prior. In my opinion the number one benefit of improved nutrition is the way in which you will FEEL. When you feel good every aspect of your life improves drastically!
